self-study

I have this thought.

Recently I have been going to school almost everyday to study with some class people (a lot! lol) and just now on my way home I thought...

Maybe we can carry out self-study for the whole year? Like. Collect lecture notes and tutorial. Go through at your own pace in school. Do and submit. Got questions consult teachers (who might not have anything else to do in this system...)

The big plus point is studying at your own pace. Of course there has to be tests and all those periodically to make sure you aren't studying too slowly... There might also be more ownership with regard to learning. But I guess the individual needs to be disciplined and have some sort of self-motivation as well.

But then, what would the teachers do? Lol.
